Education

PhD (University of California at Berkeley); MSc (University of California at Berkeley); Certified Public Accountant (Israel); BA in Accounting and Economics (Tel Aviv University)

Research Areas

Gilad's research focuses on understanding how capital markets react to accounting information. Current research looks into international accounting issues, accounting for intangibles, the role of non-financial information, firm-coverage decisions by analysts and soft dollar arrangements between money managers and brokerage houses.

Teaching Areas

Gilad's teaching involves Financial Statement Analysis, International Accounting, and Introductory and Advanced Financial Accounting courses. Gilad has also taught at London Business School and Lancaster University

 

Additional Experience

Gilad is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant, Israel) and worked several years as a senior auditor in Israel, after completing his BA in accounting and economics at Tel Aviv University.
