I participated in the bid for the first time last week and I have been so lucky! I want to thank the IE Football Club for giving me the chance to enjoy a really great game.
Real Madrid were incredibly 6-1 up at home to Real Betis at half-time after the incredible 45 opening minutes. In fact, all seven goals were scored before the break, with captain Raul and Huntelaar both scoring braces for Madrid to add to further efforts from team-mates Higuain and Sergio Ramos.
Before last Saturday I had only dreamed of sitting at magnificent Bernabeu Stadium. It is by far the most emblematic stadium I have ever visited: its unparalleled atmosphere make it the Europe's most spectacular footballing stage.
Here is a picture of the team celebrating after a goal (I don't remember which one of the six!)

During his conference, Tony Seba introduced, explained and gave real examples for each rule. Almost all his rules (8. products and services easy to adopt; 3. add value not features to products; 4. have a story-communicate clearly; 1. feel the pain-develop your product; 5. it´s a risky world-sell confidence; 6. convert champions, not deals) are based on the fundamental role of customers, since (1) we sell to people, not to companies and (2) in High Tech markets we are selling confidence, not products.

On January 28, 2009, the Emerging Markets Club held its first event of 2009: Georgia - A New Country with New Opportunities. The event was opened by Emerging Markets Club President, Alexander Hang, who then turned the event over to the Embassador of Georgia to Spain, the Honorable Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili. Mr. Pololikashvili expressed his pleasure with the interest shown in Georgia at the IE community and introduced the two guest speakers on Georgia, Ms. Natalia Kasradze, Director of Georgia National Investment Agency, and Beka Jakeli, Deputy Chairman of the Georgia Department of Tourism and Resorts.
Some key points from the presentation include the World Bank's recognition of Georgia as an investment-friendly environment, Georgia's efforts to attract foreign direct investment (especially through low taxes and reduced bureaucracy), Georgia's high literacy rate (99%), and Georgia's unique geography and wine culture.
The event was followed by a tasting of Georgia's wines, kindly provided by the Embassy of Georgia to Spain, and was also accompanied with Georgian national folk tunes, sung by the a cappella choir Shvidkaca. A special thanks to George Makaridze (IMBA 2009) and Teona Mikadze (IMBA 2009) for their efforts in coordinating this event for the IE community.
